Barely slept for the whole of last night. Mainly because I was worrying that B would be worn out, not having proper and enough rest, despite staying OVERNIGHT AT THE OFFICE work is still not completed. This is really insane. He actually stayed there for the entire whole night rushing a project!

Is it worth it?

Kah Wai was really thoughtful to call B in the middle of the night yesterday to ask if he could render some help. Must be thinking you can strike lottery since this is the FIRST time I sing praises of you. HAHA! Seriously, even I appreciate and felt your sincerity. (:

I may be in no position to judge and I have nothing against the company, especially being in the H&T industry, I’ve seen many of some cases having to do OT without being asked. However, what I want to say is, your employees are the key to your success. Without them how can profits be rolling in? Employees loyalty is very important, because when the company treats each and every employee with due respect, equality and gives special incentives or even the slightest way like saying ‘THANK YOU’ boost and makes one to feel belonged. And thus, the no grumble when they have to out in extra effort, work longer hours if they have to etc. Think about it, is this the practice at your company? Maybe you’ve haven’t/never heard, that’s because you never asked.

I am not pin pointing at any company in specific but in general. If you happen to FEEL that this is the situation that you may be experiencing, give it some thought. I believe you were also once an employee by someone. Employees’ loyalty and belongingness is really important.
